About this product
The M-Lock Modular Heavy Duty Tile (M-Lock Pro) is a 91 × 91 cm tile, 17 mm thick, moulded in 100% nitrile ESD-compliant rubber with the same elephant-skin top surface as the Comfort tile. The nitrile compound adds moisture, oil and chemical resistance that natural rubber cannot offer, with good chemical resistance for wet or contaminated floors.
Where to use it
Choose the Pro tile for workstations exposed to oils, greases and industrial fluids:
- CNC, machining and lathe bays
- Workshops with oil, coolant or grease
- Engineering and maintenance areas
- Foundries and metalworking cells
For dry or wet areas without oil exposure, the M-Lock Modular Anti-Fatigue Tile is the more economical choice.
Modular system and ramps
Pro uses the same M-Lock click-together system: tiles interlock at the edges and build to any footprint. Secure the connector heads with a dab of standard super glue, and reconfigure any time. Finish the perimeter with male and female safety ramps, sold separately — you need both types to complete a bevelled, trip-safe border.

How is the Pro tile different from the Comfort tile?
The Pro tile is 100% nitrile rubber, which resists moisture, oil and chemicals that natural rubber cannot. The Comfort tile is natural rubber and suits dry or wet areas without oil. Both share the same 91 × 91 cm size, 17 mm thickness and elephant-skin top.
Is this tile suitable for oily or greasy floors?
Yes. The nitrile compound gives moisture, oil and chemical resistance, so the Pro tile suits CNC and machining bays, workshops with oil or coolant, engineering and maintenance areas, foundries and metalworking cells.
Do I need safety ramps with these tiles?
Ramps are recommended to form a bevelled, trip-safe perimeter. You need both male and female M-Lock Safety Ramps to complete a border; they are sold separately.
How do the tiles connect?
Tiles click together at the edges with male and female connectors. Secure the connector heads with a dab of standard super glue, then build and reconfigure to any footprint.
