About this product

The M3 blue smooth is ESD bench matting for workstations that handle static-sensitive electronics — repair and test benches, electronics labs and EPA workstations. The smooth blue top gives a clean, wipeable work surface for assembly and inspection.

It is made from 5.5 mm ESD foam for dry environments, with a dissipative surface to protect components from electrostatic discharge. Used with a grounding cord and earth bonding plug, it forms part of a controlled ESD workstation.

Sizes and formats

Standard bench mats are 60 cm wide in lengths from 45 cm up to 180 cm and are buyable in the shop — add to basket and our team confirms the order, or request a quote. Cut-to-length runs (priced per linear metre) are quote-only, so request a quote for those.

Is the M3 mat static-safe?

Yes. The M3 has a dissipative ESD surface, designed to protect sensitive electronics from electrostatic discharge on benches and EPA workstations.

Do I need grounding accessories?

To work as an ESD surface the mat must be grounded. It is used with a grounding cord and an earth bonding plug, connecting the mat to earth as part of a controlled ESD workstation.

Which bench sizes can I buy online?
